It all passed off very well thank you, the bride looked lovely, and we were 'fashionably late', and then a further five minutes unfasionably late as Kerri had an attack of tears as we went into the church - good jonb I always have a clean hankie with me!
The meal was excellent, and in-house DJ at the venue was really good - it's so easy for a disco to wreck a night if the DJ has rigid ideas of what people should like - I used to be a DJ, so I know.
All the worries we had - weather, timings, meal, best man's and groom's speeches, were all unfounded, and the whole day went of without a hitch. Our oldest daughter is making noises about marriage next year, so i could be doing it all again!
