Getting a tatoo!

To cut a long story short I'm getting a tattoo on the arch at the underside of my foot. THE most sensitive part. I can't possibly back out. Am I making a mistake? Ive never had a tottoo before.

I got loads of tats and piercings but not on the sole of my foot.
Each to their own I suppose!!

i agree with ytrewq, if you have to ask if it's a mistake, it probably is.
a tattoo is something you need to think about...you will have it the rest of your life! so what if you can't see it, i can't see mine (it's on the back of my neck), but i love it and i'm glad i had it done. out of sight is not out of mind.
a tattoo is something that you should want to have done, not something to have done out of bravado
sometimes it takes more courage to back down - unless you want something to look at in 30 or 40 years time to remind you of how 'brave' you were doing something simply cos you didn't want to lose face.
