...now I don't dream very often as I have major problems sleeping...anyhow, last night I was having a very pleasurable and realistic dream, (but thats another story)when at a crucial point in the dream I woke up and the whole of my bedroom was covered in a strange orange glowing flickering light...at first I thought I was still dreaming , then I thought SH!T the house is on fire as it was similar to a flickering candle, so I got up and checked my house wasn't burning down, when I got back to my room the light had gone... any ideas?...anyone had or heard of anything simmilar happening to someone?....
I would imagine its just the brain having a funny turn, playing tricks on you, but who knows for sure. maybe someone trying to reach you through your dreams, hence the dream, maybe you come out of the dream to soon whilst the spirit was still with you, hence the aura!
I had something similar a few months ago, I woke up and there was a bright white light outside my window that was moving. You couldn't pin-point where it was coming from. It cast a shadow from the neighbouring garden wall as it moved downwards. I put it down to a flare or something but it freaked me right out! It was almost like it was scanning my house! Moved really slowly too so I'm not convinced it was a flare, unless it was a parachute one. Didn't think they were white though!
...Ooooh ...aliens!... lol... that would have freaked me out too country-boy... but last night this light was definatly INSIDE my room...strangley enough I was not scared or freaked out atall....
Wow! Were you definitely awake? - I've had dreams before where I thought I was awake until some really strange stuff happened and then I woke up for real!
...nope not near the road live in the middle of the country...I did have a look out the window though, just incase , but there was nothing., it was deadly quiet too...yup definatly awake as I got up and checked every room in the house ....
there is a condition called sleep apnia*sic and it can cause the aparent auras you talked about almost like yr halucinating or on drugs or something if you have been having a really small amount of sleep that is?
... thanks fsm...I have heard of sleep apnia but I didn't realised they caused halucinations before, I usually sleep for about 5 hours a night, if I'm lucky...
