My date with a millionaire
0 Answers
I went on a date last night with a very wealthy man and he came all the way from Leeds in his Bentley to take me for a meal where i live in Newcastle. He's 35, good-looking and doesn't drink or smoke so I decided not to either and it was really nice to go on a date and not be drunk. Anyway, its my first date since April and i've been officially single for nearly 4 years (by choice as my last one was very violent) so i'm a bit out of touch with dating. Now, I know he has extremely high standards and as a card designedr was complimenting my on things like proportion, height, looks, posture... even my long fingers! I was a bit embarrassed that he noticed these things and I felt a bit intimidated by his wealth as I'm just a simple and down-to-earth person... he has a Ferrari, 2 Rolls Royce Phantoms, a Bentley and a McLaren and was wearing an 8,000 watch... I don't even have a car or a watch! Anyway, he didn't try anything on with me and dropped me off home before driving back to Leeds at 12.30 this morning. Thing is, i'm not sure that I fancy him... I mean I'm not sure if I'm physically attracted to him and his wealth is pretty intimidating, although he's really lovely and didn't boast about anything. Also, good-looking but not my usual type. When he was dropped me off, he said he'd enjoyed our first meeting a lot and he'd like to see me again, but when I said goodbye, I wasn't sure if I was supposed to kiss him or not, so I smiled, said goodbye and tried to get out the door, but I didn't want to pull the door handle so hard in a 130,000 car and to my embarrassment, I got stuck and had to face him again, to which he just laughed and told me to pull it again. Then I didn't want to slam the door to hard so it didn't close properly and I had to do it again!
