stylinsam. does it say 'smarties' on the packet ? If it does then you are ok . Take the other tablets for the paranoia - the ones that say 'jelly tots'. Good luck !

very funny larkin!!! your name really does explain you haha
actually sam - if that is a genuine question then i am sorry for cynical answer.
Hiya Sam
No contraception is 100% i'm afraid.
the pill wont stop you from conceiving for ever, just whilst you dont want to be pregnant, some people can get pregnant quickly after coming off the pill. Am I on the right track here????

Well I believe that while it might take a couple of months for your cycle to settle back into it's natural rhythm timewise, your fertility should be unaffected.
Thats what i guessed you might mean sam - sorry for being sarcastic. Dont think there is a huge amount of proof in that , and if it is any consolation, my sis in law has just announced that she is pregnant having stopped taking the pill only 8 weeks ago. Hope that is reassuring - but remember that everyone is different. But then i am sure that you know that .
I remember when my midwife was talking to me about future contraception that most of them you can get pregnant fairly quickly after, apparently she removed a coil from someone and 6 weeks later the woman was pregnant. I think that it takes a while if you have the injection, something to do with the chemicals?
Stylinsam, you are brilliant, loved it. I know it came out all wrong but had a real good laugh, sorry lol
Sam, I was on the pill from 16.....didn't stop taking it until I was 31, as I wanted 6 months clear before trying to conceive. Once the 6 months were up, I conceived about a month later, no problem at all. Stop worrying :o)))
Took it from 18 to 22. Pregnant six weeks later!
My friend took a year first time round though, before she was pregnant.
I have known of a baby born with a coil on its head!! (seriously)
