Melanin

Is there a way to permanently darken your skin and increase the melanin in it, if not will there be soon?

I have asked my mate who works in a sunbed/tanning shop and she tels me that you can use gels that can bring the melanin to the top of your skin so you will be even darker when you come out of the sunbed but there is nothing to permanently do that at the moment. hope that helped u a little. x
