Hello all,
Firstly I have NEVER been a fan of Tattoos and I KNOW they are permanent and all this. Trust me, I have preached enough to my sister about her one and told her it was stupid and all that..... but now..... I am kind of wanting to get one myself! But I want to get one that will do me for the rest of my life, something that will make sense until I am 80, and somewhere where its not always on show but can also be seen without having to reveal private body parts to show people! Also I want it someone I can see it as well.. not on my back for example!
I am just toying with the idea but I am tempted... I was thinking of getting my initials in pretty writing on the inside of my wrist... just something tiny! I know you are going to say 'but what if you get married and change your name'... but I am NEVER going to change my name... marriage or no marriage.... its my name.. and its my name for life! I don't see why a woman should have to sacrifice her name just coz she married someone! (Also I understand that I may change my mind about this one day but right now I feel pretty strong about the name thing)
Does anyone here have a tattoo they regret?

If its well done art and in the right spots for that art ... (on a man).... I think there very very VERY sexy... Im not to fond of big ones on girls... I like seeing little ones on girls that are very pretty. I think Tattoo's are a wonderful way to express meaningful things in your life on your skin. And when your naked you still have something on... and it is also apart of many people cultures which is a beautiful thing. I also must mention Im from Vancouver island British Columbia and people here are very open to self expression in many forms.. So more people here than not have at least have 1 little tattoo. If you are planning to get one.. make sure it will hold some sort of personal meaning to you.. Like for me.. Im getting my childrens birth signs tattooed, one each one the back of my ankles about the size of a coin.
And yes Tattoos are permanent but so is who your are, and if a "tiny" tattoo is what you would like to have, then have one. It is a very unique expearience that gives your inner self almost a new form of confadence. And only people who have tattoos could understand that. Take care Ruby.. Jen x
