uv gel nails - doing my own

i have had gel nails done a few weeks ago and will need infills soon, but the salon has closed down, would i be able to do them myself and what do i need to do them - ive seen lamps and kits on ebay but what exactly do i need and is it safe for me to do it?

Yep I've started doing my own and can't believe I bothered paying for it before cos it is easy!! You need UV gel which I got 3 pots for about �7, a UV lamp, some are about �20-30 but I found one for �12, and a brush. (all off ebay) Then you literally just paint the gel on and hold it under the lamp and it sets all shiney! (I find it easier to do a thin layer then you can build it up with more if you need to, rather than get into a mess with a thick layer staright away.) I also got some tips and glue so I can do my actual extensions, and I would recommend getting a bottle of brush cleaner too because the gel won't come off with water.

you can probably get it cheaper of ebay. you get everything you need in the kit.
