Is anyone else sick and tired of Wardminters constant abusive and offensive attitude to other ABers?

Just in one thread that was meant to be about aggressive dogs in 'News' WM has managed to totally highjack the thread and insinuate that another ABer (Ratter15) was raised by 'benefit loving scum parents' who didn't love their children (as in his eyes if they had loved their children they would have gotten better jobs!) but instead chose to bring their children up 'in squalor and filth'. He compared Ratter15 and his parents to 'peasant scum, scummy folk, disease ridden scum parents' etc. He further goes on to insinuate that Ratter's 'witchcraft partner is a disabled freak'! WM says all this just because Ratter15, who unlike WM does NOT claim to be better than the rest of us, was brought up in a council house. Well I for one have met a lot of people who were brought up in council houses and are today none-the-less intelligent, caring and law abiding loving parents who work hard to provide for their families. None of these people find it necessary to be as abusive and disrespectful to others as WM!
And yet he claims not to be offensive to others and says he would 'hate the fact of knowing I have upset somebody'. What a load of disingenuous rubbish!!! Does anyone else feel the way I do about WM's behaviour?

To answer the question ( and because Wardy used me as his example) I'm afraid I have to stick up for him in response to crete's posts and vouch for the fact that he doesn't indiscriminately pick on the weak then learn what their Achilles heel is and make their lives hell for it, because he knows a great deal about me, some very negative things ( previous drink & drug addiction, violent prison record, political leanings, deaf child, ASD child, born in a "difficult area", abused as a child, brain injury etc), yet he has never once seen fit to single out any of those things when posting in my direction. He will disagree with me and takes the mick out of the fact I'm Irish, but as I've treated him with respect, so he has treated me. Always.
I'm not saying he doesn't have tongue in cheek digs at stereotypes, but that is all they are. I've had rows with RATTER too, ( now resolved I think) and I have been far more offended by other ABer's that either of them. It's cyber space, it's a site where people air their views, get daft, get serious and all of the in-betweens, including insulting each other. It's honestly not the end of the world.

I think I'll start a Wardy Preservation Society or supporters club. No, he wasn't my CO and I don't suppose he did P Company (Paras) but what about a whip round to send him to Afghanistan and make his day.

sweet bloody jesus, im too p&ssed for this one...i lost the plot by page 2 but what i dont get (forgive me for my brain is now on melt down) is why people think that council estates are bad......i dont get it....i mean ive been a home owner for 24 years but hell, we all came from council (well most of us).it was just part of life for most of us...i live in a nice 3 bedroom private estate but i would never ever talk about my neighbours like that...i dont get it at all...maybe it just depends where you come from...certainly it aint an issue in the glasgow area....or maybe its just me???

Well said Temptress. Thank you for that. I have never lived in a council estate, but have many friends who were brought up and live in them now. These friends are just as lovely and loyal as those who have never lived in one. It is just sad that some people like WM think they can put others down in such a vicious way and see themselves as way, way, way above anyone else. Ah well, his loss! Poor fellow!
