Moles!

Does anybody think moles are ugly? i know it sounds stupid, but I'm curious because people always want smooth skin, no moles. What do you think?

Blemishes tend to be asymetrical, people are naturally attracted to symetrical facial features.

agreeing with rab, a symetrical face is a physical sign of having 'good genes' for want of a better phrase. we are programmed find symetry attractive and as rab says a mole decreases this. smooth skin too is a sign of youth which we subconsciously associate with fertility. of course we are all now far too sophisticated to let a little biological programming affect whether we are attracted to someone aren't we........................not :-)

nobody's face or body is symmetrical however, take a close look. - and moles, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and as these critters live mostly underground - maybe because they're ugly :-)

I only have one on my neck. I don't find them at all ugly on other people.

I think they're quite cute, actually. All fur and little pink noses. Voles however are quite another matter.

Marliyn Monroe seemed to do alright with hers! And "beauty sopts" used to be considered just that. I've got a few and I really like them.
