Last night was exactly 2 years to the day thatI met my boyfriend and so to celebrate I cooked him his absolute favourite meal - chicken and rice.Well its got a bit more to it then just chicken and rice, but its yummy!!!
So if you boys and girls were to cook your other halves their absolute favourite meal what would it be?And what would the occasion be that they would deserve it?

it would be steak, fried egg and beans washed down with a can of cider.

There would not need to be an occasion, just when I fancied spoiling him.
Chicken in a spicy tomato sauce wuth courgettes and penne pasta.
No occasion needed, and I would cook Rob Chile, it's his favourite, and yes he always deserves it.
It would be ..

Starter - Goats Cheers Salad
Main - Fillet Steak
Dessert - Chocolate Pudding and Ice Cream
Wine - Chicanti

not sure what she would have to do to get that, well nothing I could type on AB anyway.....
cheers ha ha lol maybe I ment CHEESE.
Mr P loves most food, and I cook him his faves all the time simply because I love him ;o)

However, one of his favourites requires no effort from me at all ~ it's a pile of junk! every once in a while I buy him a Fray Bentos steak & kidney pie, tinned peas & tinned potatoes. Apparently his grandma used to give him this on special occasions when he was a wee boy (convenience food was/is expensive!) so I treat him to this special dish when I feel extra loved up.

heck, I have to eat it too so I do have to make a sacrifice!
Cajun chicken, with griddled veg' kebabs and fresh salad.
Oh and for dessert he likes homemade rice pudding..or a toffee pecan pavlova :o)
Erm.... not with anyone at the moment but it would likely be a roast dinner with all the trimmings or steak, green veg and garlic tatties.

Reasons for doing it?!.... well you can have a roast cause it's a sunday and I like cooking them. The steak... how about 'just because.'

See.... I have a sweet side ;0)
He wouldnt let me, hates my cooking :-(
Oh.... and wine would most likely be a shiraz, most likely from Australia but could be persuaded in to a nice merlot.

Pudding would be something sticky..... how that would be served is not your concern ;0)
any food would be appreciated by mr redcrx. Honestly he will eat anything and love it (except tomatoes)

If asked what he'd like for a special meal, he usually answers, steak and chips lol

so tough tittie for him , hes stuck with wutever I do make ..and since I was chef he never complains .
My Love is really easy to please and I always try to cook him things he loves as he deserves it every day!. Anything from bangers & mash with peas to ribeye steak with Italian potatoes & other veggies or a nice lamb stew with swede, parsnip, carrots, onions etc.; roast beef or leg of lamb with all the trimmings. Oh and of course a full English breakfast fry up occasionally. I also love to cook German, Thai, Moroccan, Indian, French and Italian food though, so he never really knows what is going to be on the table, poor thing.
it would be catfish ,, with white northern beans with hot water cornbread .

but ..hes gettin chilli tonight.
I love cooking sinkfluff, its just my 'friend' is very picky about what he eats. All more for me :-)
If I had someone to cook for (sobs) I would make a big shepherds pie cause it's the only decent thing I know how to cook!!
Wouldn't need to be for any particular occasion cos if they were special enough I'd just wanna do it for them!!

LMAO@sinkfluff!!
For my husbands birthday I ordered him lots of unusual meats - camel, zebra, bison, kangaroo and wild boar. He loves trying new things and there are very few animals he wouldn't eat ( given the chance).
Apart from that he loves everything I cook for him.
