I think B&S did need breaking up. But I think we can all still meet up in the main secion of B&S. Or we could you use the music celebrity gossip bit... no one goes in there! ;0)

On the whole tho, I think we'll be allowed to have random chatter on threads like this. Ed did say that some chatter will be tolerated. We'll just have to be more creative in our questions. I'll think of the first one.... Oooh, I know....

Apologies for being thick, but what do you mean that some of the questions you would like to ask don't fit anywhere, now?

Surely if they don't fit a particular sub topic, they could still go in the 'header' topic?

I meant fee that why have say 3 sub-sections under law when a lot of questions won't go into any of the three,and so you have to post under the general heading,but if people just go into the sub sections they wont see it at all.

At the end of the day this is Answerbank not Chatterbank, and the changes will help get that element back.
I think the majority of us that use this site origainally found it because they needed a question answering, not becuase they wanted to know about a Russians lovelife/dinner/fantasies.
I agree with Goodsoulette, people with real questions and answers are getting overlooked, and it's not really fair.
Don't get me wrong a good debate is fantastic, and I love challenging posts and post I can help with. But assessing if some is pretty or not/what they had for tea last night is not what this site should be about.
