I am currently studying. I am 22 years old and in first year but there is a guy I am fond of who is 18. and also in first year. I heard a statistic that 85 percent of people meet their spouses as friends years before they get married. I like this guy so much. could this be true/?

My husband and I met in college, in 1981. We went to two different colleges in the Bronx (N.Y.) that cross-registered. I joined his college's chorus, of which he was already a member. We were friends for a year before we dated. We married in 1986 and it's been true love ever since.

So, yes, I think it could be true . . .

Well I guess that still counts. I suppose its more the age we're at that I'm wondering "is this too early to meet your future spouse?"
