Why do people tend to snore more when they are drunk?

snoring is something to do with the vibration made when air passes down to your lungs. I think that alcohol relaxes the body more and all the relaxed muscles the air passes vibrate more and create a louder snore.

oh talking of drinkers, i forgot to say (although you may have heard from mart) that the biggest drinker we know has got himself engaged :0

Morning ladies.Yes redcrx is right - alcohol and drugs have the same effect on snoring - they relax the nerve endings and all the muscles in the body,especially the ones at the back of the throat.

lol - at the moment I have a front garden with 5 children in(only one is mine!).They all seem to camp out in my garden only!

where i used to live in 'S' i had about 5 kids playing football on my front lawn every eve. I didnt have any kids and didnt recognise half of them lol

At least their not all inside you house complaining of boredom or hunger

Oh Ive had that! What he does is say "Mum,can we all have a drink/crisps/whatever..." and then I get 6 faces looking at me hopefully!!

lol, my mum was always complaining that i always asked her if my friends could come for tea whilst the friend stood beside me. I couldnt understand what the problem was at the time
