Found another (very) distant relative during my research for my family tree. I got an e-mail off him this morning which he signs off, 'your cousin David', which just made me smile.

i went to watch my six year old say her Rainbow Promise....

she stood there in front of the other mams and dads, and fellow rainbows, and said it whilst smiling at me, looking so proud of herself., had a lump in my throat.

I've been to Seden over the weekend to an album listening session, which included a night in a Count's mansion. I slept in the bed the King and Queen of Swden use when they visit - they are personal friends of the Count.

Today I had a lovely e-mail from the record company PR who arranged it all, and accompanied us - saying how much she enjoyed my company, and if my magazine agree, she wants me to attend another listening session in Germany next month!

Have been having some 'man' trouble of late and my friend just sent me a lovely text message saying chin up and how much she valued me as a friend... i was made up after feeling quite low and something so simple has put a smile back on my face!....if only more people were like that!

Our daughter and her fiance named the day today. The church is booked for May 11th!
