Is there a reliable way to find out if your pregnant or not, before the actuall missed period?

some tests like first response claim to be able to test 4 days before period is due. They claim a 51% positive result in pregnant women. Thats about as reliable as you can get.
Im not sure if a blood test at GP would be able to tell.

In my case I had sensitive breasts, and they were very 'veiny'

I done a test three days before my period was due. The little blue line was up in 30secs. It will depend on when you ovulated.
