i am proud to be scottish, are all politicians corrupt i dont know , i do know i dont trust any of them they are too busy being celebrities to do a decent job. im ashamed of the N H S ,I worked in it for 30 years it is now treated like an industry rather than a service with more management than patients, as a patient over the last three years i have lost confidence in the service following numerous surgical procedures and contracting M R S A on two occasions in two different hospitals , now been told i require further surgery im terrified to go into hospital again,,

crete it is such a shame that somebody like you,who has worked in the NHS has to see it pulled apart by pen pushers hope your surgery goes well for you, if you need surgery you can't not have it done can you, hope the next time is the last time you have to have any, Ray

ray the decision to have further surgery will be my choice, and who knows what ill decide though the decision could be taken out of my hands at some time , no matter how much money is put into the N H S it does not help the situation it requires full restructioning and the priority must be patient care .

I agree with you crete no good throwing money into a black hole, they have far to many pen pushers,contract cleaners etc,the whole thing does need reforming, as for the surgery of course it is your choice,it is just such a shame that it has come to the point that people such as you who had worked in the NHS now have lost faith in it.patient care should allways be the priority.
