I didnt find any useful answers of course so I then browsed around and found the 'news' section. After reading some of the Q's and opinions there that ticked me off I really wanted to vent so I signed up immediately.

Gentle creaking as the old gentleman's Bath chair creaks into motion ....
I have been here since before the site went 'live' - the original owners approached me to write material for the Music section, and to moderate it - i was one of seven such employed writers. When the Site became 'stand alone' - they jettisoned the weekly features that i and my colleagues wrote - I stayed on as a regular viewer / contributor, and barring illness / holidays, I have been on the site every day from that day to this, and yes, I have seen it all!

I joined on July 31st 2006, after my darling told me about the AB and suggested I give it a go.. Was fascinated by the many questions and postings and have loved it ever since. I've met such lovely people on here too and some are now friends on msn as well. So, I am here to stay ... well, hopefully!
I hate wagon wheels, there is nothing much to chomp on. But one thing that we can agree on is that AB is addictive. I can ask DIY questions that I would usually ask my brother. I get helpful answers without all the commentary about how useless I am.
I can laugh at the animal section, people who love their cats but sometimes feel the urge to strangle the beast. Dog problems that are not worth worrying the vet about.
We can find out the name of films that we only remember a snatch about.
I like AB and would miss it if it disappeared.
