You have no choice. You tell her to cop on! Marriage is sacred ( as such in 2006) and you also tell her that you love her but if she ever makes any moves on the husband you will tell the wife. Harsh I know but he chose to marry someone else. So she gets over it or else!!!!!

I TOTALLY agree, she is completely smitten with him, I just dont know what to do!!
Like I said you have no choice.......you tell her you love her and you understand but.......you WILL not let anything happen and you WILL not sit back and let her test all of your friendships.....If you can't say it to her face. Write her a letter!
They both deserve a decent shot at marriage! Leave them alone. Leave them alone.

I toatlly agree ummmm, but it'slike talking to a bl00dy wall sometimes!!!!
Is she likely to make a move on him? I don't it's a problem fancying other people as long as you don't do anything about it especially if they're unavailable!!

Does she make it really obvious? Surely her friend would've noticed it!
Does the husband fancy her back? If he doesnt then dont worry about it.. If he is not likely to cheat on his wife then your friend will get the message eventually.. If you cant get through to her tho, try talking to him. If he sat her down and told her he doesnt fancy her she will very soon get the message.

Thanks for the advice guys! She does make it obvious that she fancies him but only when his wife isn't there. He isn't interested in her at all but she doesn't believe it. I've told her she isn't being a good friend but as I said before it's like talking to a wall!
Don't talk to either of them, just keep out of it and mind your own business. If the couple's marriage is strong then she can do no harm, she'll just make a fool of herself, if it's not then they clearly are not right together and will part eventually anyway. either way it's no-one's business but those three, so don't involve yourself.
I agree with everything nox has said in his reply.

As a side note, I was once smitten with a friends husband ~ and it was mutual. I moved out of the area, as the last thing I wanted was to be the 'other woman'.

They eventually split up, but not through my doing..he wasn't happy in his marriage.

I DO want to mind my own business, she keeps coming to me.
Just tell her not to..and explain why.

I wouldn't go telling him anything about her fancying him - that might flatter his ego enough to make him make a move. Mens ego's are funny things!
