I am reminded of the story of the New York Journalist who decided to ask the ambassadors of various countries what they would like for the festive season, the next day it appeared in the New York Times,

the French Ambassador asked for kindness to animals
the german ambassador for religious tolerance

the British Ambassador said nothing thanks but if pressed a quarter of jelly babies would be rather nice

A stable period of employment
To visit more places before I died

cure for cancer (then my dear brother would be here still)
my kids grow up healthy , happy adults with lots of laughter in their lives.
there is no such thing as a childrens hospice

wish I was less selfish and looked at the whole worlds problems and not just my own but if everyone has got 3 wishes then the less selfish people would look after the more needy , make sense or am I waffling for a change!
