When was the last time you bought your partner a prezzie for the shell hell of it? Not birthdays or xmas,just a random day of the year.It can be as inexpensive as a box of chocs or something more.

The reason I ask is that my b/f surprised me yesterday by coming home with a beautiful orchid in a vase for me - and he never buys me things apart from occasions.It really made my day and we should all do it more often.

The best gift I ever got from my fiance was a pack of fruit pastilles. it was our second date and we hadn't seen each other for over a month, he remembered that I liked them and wasn't keen on chocolate.

He's taking me away to Brighton tonight. Lobster & Champagne dinner at English's... a romantic but drunken stroll along the seafront... sex on the beach... until the cocktail bar closes! ;ob

I bought my other half a Winnie the Pooh chocolate advent calender yesterday. She gets so excited about christmas bless her.

I often buy my husband something if I'm in town - a cheap dvd he's wanted or just some of his favourite sweets. He sometimes comes home with a bar of chocolate for me but not often! I don't mind though, i prefer to give rather than receive ;)
