Broken tooth

I just realized i have a broken tooth from where my dentist took out my wisdom tooth about 3 years ago. I assume he never mentioned it to me coz he broke it and he hoped i wouldn't notice. It's missing a big chunk off the corner. Am i likely to need to have it taken out coz it's broken?

You didn't notice for three years that you had a broken tooth?

If the tooth is still healthy then you wouldn't need to get it taken out. just get a filling.
