Ok, this is a serious question!!!

I went for a full body massage earlier today. I always have the same girl who is fantastic.

She wasn't in today so I had a new girl who was very stange and really not very good.

Amongst other things she...

Put the table funny so I ended up smacking my head on a metal shelf;

Used so much horrible watery massage oil she had to rub it all off me with industrial tissue and it got in my eyes, couldn't see properly for ages as got in my contact lenses.

It was very cold in the room and she didn't respect my dignity bearing in mind I was naked!

Then what made me the most uncomfortable was she whipped the towel off so I was lying there half naked saying she was going to massage my stomach and promtly started massaging both breasts!!!

I'm not prude but I felt very uncomfortable!

I feel bad as i'm a regular at the place and they are lovely to me, giving me discounts and such and making me tea and coffee and before I went in gave me a christmas card with a voucher in.

Apart from my experience I feel she could get herself in quite a bit of trouble doing this.

What do you think?

ewww Jenna! Did you say anything to her? Did she finish the massage? I think you should mention it to the manager, it's your bit of sanctuary, try to hang onto it ! With a bit of luck they will retrain her or give her a verbal warning. However this may involve you returning back to discuss the matter - dunno if you fancy that.
Perhaps if you want to keep it to yourself you could next time specify which particular masseuses you would like to treat you. Poor you!!

It sounds a bit dodgy to me, I think maybe next time you go you should ask for your usual girl, its hardly a relaxing massage if you are not comfortable and being denied your dignity.

This girl is most certainly breaching the rules of her trade and invading your privacy at the very least. If you really want to keep going there you should either ring them if you cant face them, or write to them, otherwise this person is bringing disrepute to the place and will inevitably lose them custom.
As an employer myself I would much rather know if someone in my employment was acting inappropriately.

i would have been mad about the low temperature and banging head, but erm if had been warm might have liked the breast massage but she should have asked u first

Thanks hon, I was going to but she didn't seem to speak much english. I asked her at the start which way she wanted me up and she didn't understand so I gave up after that. I got out of there pretty sharpish!

The manageress wasn't in so I had a quiet word with the guy on the desk downstairs as there were other customers around as was she as she followed me down and i'm crap at complaining so they only really got the idea it wasn't a good experience, no real details.

He was very good and said he'd speak to the manageress who would have a chat to me as I'm such a good customer and make sure I get my usual one back next time. I tried to explain about the boobs thing which was a bit embarrassing but wanted to warn them in case she got into trouble doing it to someone else.

Definitely bang out of order, never even heard of anything like this!
You should call them and complain, this is verging on inappropriate sexual behaviour! Poor you....:-(

Hi Jenna Love x. So sorry you had this experience! Although I do not work as a massage therapist, I have qualified in Indian massage therapies. You need to report this "therapist" to the head of the place she is working at. What she did is not appropriate practice, nor is it normal to use watery oils and get them in your eyes etc. Apart from the fact that you are a regular and hence know that this is not the kind of treatment you normally get there, it will hurt the company's reputation if they have someone working there who is acting in an inappropriate way and leaving clients feeling as you did. So, please do tell the manager as soon as possible before another client, who may not be quite so understanding and may even see this as sexual assault, experiences the same and reports them. You also need to tell the manager to make sure that she is never allowed near you again. xx :o)

Thank you all, I wondered if I was making a bit too big of a deal of it but I realise now I wasn't.

I felt very uncomfortable and quite violated and just wanted to get out of the place.

I'm going to try and speak to the manageress or the lovely lovely girl who usually does me. I didn't really want to go into it with the guy on reception.

I know how you feel. When we were in Turkey last year we went to a very classy hotel where they had massage etc. I asked for the full body massage but I made it clear to the manager that I wanted to keep my bikini top on. When the girl came in to do my massage she took off my top and stared to massage my breasts. My 5 year old was with us at the time and I was very embarrassed. I didn't say anything because I assumed that with us being in a foreign counrty that this was the norm. Never again! (perhaps she was Turkish)

She's polish but then again so is my usual girl who is fantastic and always keeps my dignity and goes nowhere near my breasts.

The fact that she made you feel uncomfortable is just the worst thing ever. If I were you I would phone up the manager and tell them of your experience. You never know, other people may have said the same thing, and this woman won't get away with it!

It made me nervous enough why she the room set up so different especially as it seemed in such a stupid place where she could only be at one side (usually they have it so they can move all the way round).

She said she had to put it that way as it was better for her then made me get off the bed part way through so she could move it round another way!
