I get this really weired pain when I run. I originally thought it was stitch but I relised todays it only ever happens when I am running downhill or after I have run downhill. When I stop it goes away. I worked out that it is because when I run downhill it is more of a jump impact style of running (if you get me) Randomly I decided to jump up and down and it hurt then too but when I stood still, nothing. The pain is just off centre of my stomachjust below the last rib.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

I knew someone who had a similar problem who also did exercise. He never went to the doctor but believed that his lowermost rib was actually putting pressure on the surrounding tissue. But I would advise to see your doctor to get it checked out.
