Lynx adverts and mens sweat
6 Answers
The new Lynx advert claims that mens sweat only attracts other men. Isn't this a load of rubbish? I always thought that that's how you found your mate cause sweat contains pheromones, to which your either attracted or not. If this is the case, I have a theory that because we use deodorants etc to mask these, we may actually be attracted to the wrong people and this could explain the high percentage of break ups. What do you think people?

The more ... shal we say 'effete' gay men, are indeed more scented, but there are a whole swathe of us who are just like all the other blokes around. I personally use a bit of antiperspirant ('cause I'm a sweaty b*gger), but nothing else, and the majority of the gay guys I know tend to go for men who smell 'natural' (myself included), so sweat DOES attract other men, and I ain't complaining about that ;o)
I am a straight man, and I am 'scented' 24 / 7. I like to smell nice - I believe people are subconciously more friendly towards you if the smell you give off is attractive. That's merely a by-product, I'm not that manipulative - I simply like to smell nice for my own benefit. I use a good anti-perspirant, and a splash of cologne every day, and i despise men who smell of stale sweat - if you can afford a shirt to sweat into, you can afford soap and water to stay fresh. Like tha ad says, men's (stale) sweat - who needs it?
