I think it's supposed to be based on recommended intake for alcohol- 21 units for men and 14 for women per week- so if a man strays more than slightly over, i.e. over 2 pints per day, then that's technically a binge. Perhaps it should be that 4-6 is a Heavy Session and then 7+ is Binge? I've no idea.
Don't know what the question is but it seems that my average intake over the last four months has been 0.004 units per day, approximately.
when i first joined the navy and was in trouble once or twice, i was asked how much i alcohol i drink, i was fore warned by others, that the national average was 2 or 3 pints, 2 or 3 times a week, armed with this knowledge, i replied, only to be answered, ahh so your a regular drinker then...............
I'm a recognised pillar of society - grey head, pensions, great-granddaughter, hate skateboards etc., but I have to ask this - if you don't drink too much, that is, to the extent whereby you are affected and therefore (say the pundits)clinically damaged by the alcohol, what's the bloody point of drinking at all, might as well have a lemonade
