An icepack and a large sponge to clear up the mess when his wife finds out.

Sorry Caz but these things do not happen for "fun". If there were no problems in the marriage to start with then there would be no wanting an affair at all.

Hence what i said earlier that nothing is black and white and people really should not judge what they dont know. Maybe there was a good reason that your friend's wife had an affair but you will obviously take his side and not look past that.
Stop bleeding jelly-babe. You asked a question loaded with 'married' ''wife' ' suspicious' 'lover'

Just get on with it. Offer him a wedding ring and a commitment, also his wife, get it into the open, pull everybody out of a quagmire.

Offer to spend the rest of your life with him and have a family and watch him run with his tail between his legs . You will be better off to get yourself a new boyfriend (single ) for Christmas for yourself!
a crocerdile clip to put on his thing just to remind him of you
when my dad was having an affair she used to buy him clothes cds and all sorts, he would just say it was from someone at work, all wrapped up nicely etc etc. She also used to make him compilation cds which I used to borrow and listen to and enjoy, I didnt enjoy them much when he leftm my mum I met her and recognised the hand writing. Whatever you get him at some point will be obvious its from a lover.
ummmm clearly downed waaaaaaaay too much then.
Jelle-baby - did you honestly believe that your post would not provoke any negative responses?

It doesnt really matter about the whys of your relationship, but there will be some people on here who have been on the wife's end of these relationships and will know how much it can hurt. If his marriage is over then it should be over, but at the moment he has the best of both worlds and someone, somewhere is going to get hurt by this. Being deceitful is not nice no matter how you try to dress it up. He should make a choice either you or her. And sometimes people do have affairs - not because the marriage is bad - but because an opportunity comes their way and they cant or dont want to say no. As you say nothing is black and white but people do have affairs just for fun! I hope you are never on the end of one of these "fun" affairs now or in the future.

Can't you buy him something that he can keep at your place and that you can enjoy together?
That old saying 'let he who is without sin cast the first stone' came to mind when I read some of the replies! I'm always surprised how self-righteous and judgemental some people can be. We should try to live and let live. Whether its right or wrong - its not for us to judge.
Maybe his favorite cologne would be a nice gift. Pay attention to anything he says he may need or like. I'm getting my married boo some leather driving gloves, he said he needed replaced in a conversation and some cologne he mentioned he wanted to try. Don't worry abt the negative comments , they click on your question for a reason. Good luck.
