i am trying to find a news item from midlands today in approx 1978? it was my brother and i would love to find it for him for christmas??

i have googled all words associated but no joy?

any idea's?

You can get footage from the BBC archives dept, I asked about getting a copy of when Blue Peter came to my school and filmed my friends and I in 1985 for the lend an ear appeal. They emailed me back and said everyone who has been fimed has a right to get the footage but it cost �105 for copies.

So hence to say I didnt get a copy.
