In regards to you feeling guilty about everything, i would probably put this down to you having a caring side, theirs nothing wrong whatsoever with this, tho i would say, that some people in life would take advantage of your caring side/guilty feelings etc.
It would be nice if feeling guilty was a common thing, but this day and age this seems less likely, i suspose looking after number one springs to mind, try not to get yourself worked up over feeling guilty etc, your not hurting anyone other than yourself {ie getting worked up over nothing}, lifes to short to worry, try relaxing a bit more, i'm sure your be fine.
Get well soon, and have a nice christmas

Yes, happens to me all the time.... and don't worry about calling in sick... who's going to remember or even care when they come back after the break?
By the way.... I know that if I'd called in sick, I certainly wouldn't be on AB this time of the morning!!!! Get yourself back to bed, have breakfast, curl up on the sofa with muchies and a steaming bowl of chicken soup and watch a fantastic film that will make you laugh your poor little socks... I LOVE doing this! Enjoy!!! X

Don't feel guilty ! If you are sick you are sick, but many share that feeling of somehow letting ourselves or others down.
A few weeks ago I came a bad cropper off my bike and landed heavily on my foot. Next morning I couldn't walk, had to crawl everywhere, yet even then I felt guilty ringing in sick. I was perfectly healthy, but immobile. Fortunately everybody just laughed.

Bambi - try not to be so hard on yourself honey - there are usually mean people standing in line waiting for the opportunity to be hard on you - you can't do a lot about them, but you CAN stop being your own worst enemy!!!
Lighten up a little - remember that you have to love yourself, before others can love you - and have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!
