I just found out yesterday that I have an STD called Trichomonas. How could I have got it if I never had an affair on my husband?

on a different note i had nsu, non specific ureatha, years ago, called by another std nowadays, anyway the doctor, who obviously was lacking in people skills, accused me or my wife of having an sleeping with someone else, i knew was not true on me behalf and as i had only been married a year or so, and worked with my wife and spent every hour with her, i guessed she had'nt either
so after a few strong words, the doctor backtracked and said it was also naturally occuring, i found out later it had been caused by small split in some scar tissue on my penis

Well my husband said he had never had an affair on me. And the reason I got tested was because I told my docter that I was having pains when having sexual inercourse with my husband. So she did different test's. And I did not notice any syptoms until after 2 months of getting my depo shot. If this helps you all to help me a little more.

I dont think the depo injection has anything to do with your infection. it is only passed on through sex, sharing toys, or from mother to daughter during birth. you may have had it longer of course but that would not explain only getting the symptoms 2 months after you depo. the only thing i could advise now is to get your husband tested. i assume since you use the depo, you tend to use no other contraception with your husband, which would suggest he is infected to.Also, how long has it been since either of you were with another partner?
