I feel the need to go and sit in a church just for some contemplation. Are they open all the time or only at service times. My local one always looks shut exceept at mass time.

I understand your need to sit and contemplate. I've often sat in churches, of all denominations, in various places in the world, mostly on my own. I find this a wonderful spiritually uplifting experience even though I have no firm religious affiliation.

Yeah I found that really bizarre when I first moved to England. I come from Ireland and the chapel is always open. I used to sit in there a lot an chill. Over here due to burglaries etc... the doors are often locked. U can phone your local yockle an see or go in the morning early but that kinda beats the need for contemplation havin to drag your ass outa bed at the crack of dawn. I really miss this by the way it used to really calm me..inner peace and sanity line. Good luck
