LONG STORY!
Theres a guy @ wrk that I hoped something would happen with because we used to get on so well ect... We had a snog one night but I was assured that it would not go any further because he was sure it wouldnt wrk out.
I accepted this-although I wanted more & we tried really hard to be like before, just really good mates.
Our relationship has totally changed, we hardly speak and when we do its an effort and its mostly weird and awkward.
Anyway at our xmas do last wk I got totally wrecked and snogged someone else ( not from our wrk) I tried to speak to speak to him and he walked out of the bar and went home without saying a word and completely ignored me at wrk the next day.
Worse was that I was so drunk that I didnt even remember,I had to be told but it made sense as to why he walked out, ignored me and was generally rude to me on the night.
I feel terrible about it. We havent spoken about it, we just kinda started talking again without mentioning a word of the night and he's kinda pretending everytings fine-although its awkward. On one hand I am single but on the other I have bn saying how much he means to me for the last few months and he did seem to react badly to it-should I just ignore the incident or risk making things worse by apologising/explaining?

I totally agree with the post above, the guy sounds like a right idiot. He was the one saying he didn't want to take it further, wasn't he?!? Well, he needs to come back to earth and realise you're not going to wait around for him!
And no, don't apologise. You'd look like a doormat! If this guy reacts like that when you're not even going out together, imagine the sort of boyfriend he would make! Good riddance, I say.
Rant over! lol

Yeah, i suppose your right milo. it was a bit harsh. sorry. But i still say its your own fault. And its a bit shallow to blame drink on your actions(thats something us men do). I was agreeing with you all the way, until i read the last part of your Q. If you have been giving him signals for months, then i understand why he is upset. Maybe he is a little shy. Lads arent as good as expressing their emotions as women. I wouldnt apologise tho. Whats happened has happened, and your single. He obviously likes you otherwise he wouldnt have left...
If you got a reaction from him for snogging someone else then i would personally just wind him up a bit more to see what else you can push him into. You like him and this got a rise out of him. i dont mean play games, well sorta, but just as Leanne2006 says - make him jealous even more.
dont apologise !
