Do men really like skinny women?
20 Answers
Or do they prefer a bit of something to grab hold of? I know what I've read in magazines and the papers about this, but was wondering what AB men think.

My ideal is anywhere between a size10 and a size 16, much either side of that and it's getting slightly questionable with regards to ideal, but certainly doesn't preclude someone being beautiful. Attraction is so multi faceted that size alone can't objectively be commented upon.

Well imho looks aren't important, at least not after the first half an hour of knowing someone. Obviously you can find someone physically more appealing than maybe someone else but attraction is constantly evolving once you meet someone. You can be bowled over by a physically goregous girl until she opens her mouth and you find she's in the BNP, then all the attraction goes down the plughole very quickly indeed.
I'd always rather have a woman whose happy in her own skin, has her own individual style, isn't a fashion victim and who is beautiful inside. A beautiful personality always shines through no matter how it's wrapped, and that's the most important thing.

I am thin, it's just my build I always have been. (I say petite)People regularily ask me when I am going to put weight on and to be honest it becomes a little draining after a while and I do end up feeling a little Freakish & abnormal. It's the opposite of fat, then people openly discussing they don't like "stick insect" girls in the way they would not discuss not liking fat girls so openly if that makes sense.
I wouldn't dream of asking a larger person when they are going to lose weight. I guess they are just making conversation and don't really know what it's like to be asked that or how many times other people have asked me that week, but they are usually the same people who have also invited me "out for a drink one night" so I am not tooooo bothered.

I like a bit of flesh to grapple with!! cant be doing with the woman that look like there bones are going to rattle together! I don't mind petite, but don't like thin skinny woman, would rather have fat than thin!!
The worst thing about thin women is when their thighs don't touch at the top ant there is a big gap, way to thin, get a tub of lard in you!!

Are men relly that fussy. When guys say they like curves, I think they normally have Kelly Brook (still a size 10) in mind not Dawn french. I think proportion helps more than anything, so they may well not find a size 16 girl attractive if she looks all square but if she is rounded then probably brilliant.
Lets face it a leg man isnt gonna really want an extra curvy girl.
I am not slim by far : ( but I agree with Jedimistress I think its very insulting that skinny girls get such a bad rap. People think its ok to mention their size for some reason and I am sure they are more than concious of it.
