Tiswas the phantom thrower the cage, Lenny Henry doing a david belamy impersonation oh the good old day lol
the phantom flan flinger, the dying fly, etc etc

tiswas all the way - how anyone can have
preferred swap crap i don't know!!
I liked Swap shop. Tiswas was too silly.
Definitely Tiswas when I was a kid. All the kids at school who were 'poofs' used to watch Swap Shop and Blue Peter.

As a young adult though Live and Kicking and Going Live great hang over TV but then there was the ITV Ant & Dec one too.

Now I'm 40 and don't get hangovers any more (!!) its James Martin's Saturday Kitchen (for the recipes of course - yeah reckon!!)
I was one of those poofs that watched Swap shop! I actually remember being fascinated by all these toys that I had never seen, and as a kid, you WANT toys! Tiswas always seems a bit anarchic and stupid for me. But then I had to go to Sat morning music club so I missed it for years!
LOL Athley !
Tiswas for me tooo.
"And the first one up by the ears looks like ....." <pull small child up from under desk by ears.
God, you'd never get away with it now !!
Yep - Saturday Kitchen ....just loved the look of that mutton curry mmmmmm !
always swap shop for me rb followed by staturday superstore, going live and live and kicking. Never really was into Tiswas but i did get to meet the phantom flan flinger and Chris Tarrent back in the 80's.
TISWAS ( and for a bonus point can anyone remember what the acronym actually stands for?) for me for definite... and Sally James in the low cut blouses/ waistcoasts was a vision for any hormone laden teenage boy :)
