I'm having a quiet night in , tucked up all cosy with my hubby to watch a bit of telly and bring in the bells. Haven't checked the telly guide yet but i'm hoping that Still Game or Chewing The Fat will be on.Then we'll put off the lights and go into hiding in case we get a chap at the door from any of our neighbours ! Actually , I don't think many of my neighbours will be venturing out tonight anyway judging by the weather. It's torrential rain and gales where I am and my lights keep flickering , so i'd probably better look out some candles - just in case.
Last year my sister was staying with us and we had awful weather then too. The lights kept flickering and just as we were counting in the bells , the power cut off and so did our music. So we spent the first few hours of our new year singing by candlelight ! Just as well my hubby can play the guitar.
What do you have planned ? Happy new year when it comes x

Going on tonight's weather sleepyj , I wouldn't want to be anywhere else but my own home. Have had a quick look at what's on the box just now and to be honest , there's nothing much i'm missing. I haven't checked what's on later but it's usually the same anyway : Chewing The Fat/Still Game , Only An Excuse and the countdown to the bells. Mind you , I won't be watching any highlights from Glasgow since the street party's been cancelled. Same in Stirling too - not sure about Edinburgh yet. As long as my power holds out though i'll be quite happy.
