I feel lost

I was going to put this in Jobs & Education but I mostly post here and it feels right posting here.

I'm an 18 y/o student at college studying IT, it involves computers but can be extremely boring... I'm sure you can imagine.

The problem is, I want to do something else, something more fun. I have no idea what though. I woke up this morning thinking about the future, and it's just crazy thinking about it. I don't want to just be a robot who lives works then dies. I wanna do something more but I don't know what.

anyone understand what I'm saying here?

save up really hard for a year and then travel round the world, it can be done ,

what are you hobbies? what do you enjoy doing? Once you know this is may be easier to try and find a suitable job. Tell you something though after working since i was 16 and im now 27 work is boring. whatever you do! It pays the bills and gives you a bit of spare cash but unless you are doing something which you feel really passionate about it will eventually become boring.

I agree with crete travel if you can - thats something i still want ot do and the longer you leave it hte harder it may be.

I've been in a similar situation. Working for 4 years in dead end jobs, not knowing what I actually want to be for the rest of my life and worrying myself silly.
I feel better now as next year I'm travelling to Canada for the year to basically have the time of my life. I agree whole heartedly with the others when they say you should travel.
Other than that, do you have any hobbies or interests? You'd be surprised by the sort of jobs people end up with just by following their passions!

I was thinking about this.. What am I passionate about.. nothing really comes to mind.

Interesting answers aswell because my friend actually wants me to travel, he's probably thinking same as me.

I won 200 quid earlier so feeling a lot better than I did this morning.
