....following on from my last question....
I'm completely anti-smoking, but the very very worst,
off-putting thing about a woman smoking is when she's smoking roll-ups!! Yuck! Anyone got an opinion on that?

Where in Kent do you live Samuel?
I hope it's not Whitstable as I'm looking to buy round there...

Drchas - don't blame you for wanting to move with neighbours like you've got = [

Pa---ul - how can you be Welsh as well? Is it honorary Welsh or what?
Question Author
fms - don't be so pessimistic! : )
drchasuble ~ Spot on! I am in Whitstable and I love it here, but it's quite near the place I was referring to.
Pop round for coffee and I'll tell you where NOT to buy a place and explain why.
Not Herne Bay. Just say No ~ Don't do it !!!!!!

Chicklin, I'm pretty sure it wasn't my neighbour, she's a vicar so I can't imagine her squatting on my doorstep!

Samuel, would love some Whitstable info. I used to date a guy from Deal so I know that some parts of Kent (Folkestone, Margate) are utter holes but I lived near Tenterden for a couple of years and that was great. I just want to get out of London, I've been here long enough.
As a very happy x smoker I agree. Not being sexist but a burd smoking roll ups is minging ( apart from specialist rollups)!!!!
No worse than a bloke smoking roll ups..
i think ladies smoking can be very sexy..............
i gave up smoking 4 years ago but when i did smoke, i used to roll my own! It doesnt make me a minger or gross or anything else. It was the cheaper option and i always had filters, all that was different was how slim they were as opposed to normal cigarettes. I always rolled a load before i went out and didnt tend to sit rolling them in the pub.
smoking is not nice whatever you smoke and im incredibly happy that i gave it up. I look better, feel better and smell better but also i would never dictate about anyone elses right to smoke, its their choice and as long as they dont blow it in my face, then live and let live.
lol Julie, I do exactly the same as you used to, roll a load of them, with filters in my Rizla tin before I go out anywhere. Like you say, the only difference between them and 'normal' cigs is that they are slightly slimmer.
wirral....posh....hahahahaha Lore lives here ya know !!!! :-))
B00, i cant honestly see the difference!
Oh to be a man eh and be able to do all these sort of things without constant criticism! :-)
Julie you don't want to be a man, trust me, we never stop working while you lay on the sofa watching daytime telly, smoking roll ups and drinking sherry !!! xx
ray, did i leave my web cam running again???? You just described my day to day life!
more ridiculous double standards eh?

why can't people realise that making statements like this just makes people look like ill-educated, closed minded, mysoginists

pathetic
We can't all be bright and well educated joko.

curlylfim - you have got to be joking!

joko - you seem inordinately fond of the word misogynist, but you really should learn how to spell it.

I can't say as I think men exactly look good smoking roll-ups either, but it's just that I suppose I expect a bit more finesse from a woman.
me joke never...................lol
err...thats right chicklin...side step the point and pull up the spelling...well done...good point, well made!!

and as for being inordinately fond of the word...mmm... in that case I am inordinately fond of almost every word in the english language, because I have used them all more than once or twice too. Good point, well made... (jeez!)

having said that...i do have it tattooed on my arm but that doesn't mean anything....

spelling error corrections and accusations of obsessive behaviour over silly things = the last refuge of a person with a ridiculous argument.

and just for the record, I don't and never have smoked, nor do i drink pints, or even beer for that matter.
