I am white haired, but the local water supply turns my hair greenish/yellow, any ideas on how to fix this

Bottled water. You can buy 5 litre bottles quite reasonable. They won't have all the chemicals in.
Shave it all off
hi viz, to tone down the yellow, buy some silver shampoo. that should knock out the yellowy tinge. Thats what we use in the salon and it does the trick. It looks very purple as it goes on but dont worry about that! .
Ketchup....

Now don't look at me like that, I'm actually not joking!

I watched a thing with that bird of GMTV once... Lorraine Kelly?.... and I swear she said that if you ae getting greenish tones to your hair try using ketchup. I asked my hair dresser about this and he said it was true.

Now before you take this advice, it is worth knowing that I can occasionally be accused of being gullible and my hair dresser used to be a builder.... (I'm not kidding about the latter but he is very good).

But still... try it. I'm honestly, honestly not joking.
also, if you dissolve a couple of soluble asprin in your final rinse water, that should take away any green tones - as it neutralises the colour

A xXx
move.
