I have a formal thing to go to on saturday and dont know what to do with my hair! I've an appointment made at the hairdressers, and would like it simple and all back from my face.

It is just below shoulder length, anyone any ideas or pictures?

I'm a big fan of skinny headbands with sideswept bangs. You could wear a gold or silver headband to make it extra sparkly.

I just want it put up, not getting it cut. I dont have a fringe or layers at the minute, just a wee bit of long feathering round my face

Why not have a french platt that backs onto itself so it has no end, very chic, tidy and not put up so it will hurt your head after a while.
