All a tad lonely?

I posted a question (late on here last night) about having a dating site, (being a serious question to me at time) then saw all the (joke) replies from the blondes (whoever they are!) And it suddenly made me feel like a real loner and sad git for posting the question in the first place! Do others here find it difficult to get out to socialise (due to circumstance) i.e. all mates are partnered up, like mine? But are dying to get out, but stuck indoors instead typing away, like I am now on AB? (sorry had a couple of gins :) pol xx

Nobody would think of you as sad for posting the question. I thought it was a genuine question so I reposted it. The blondes do that, it was just luck it was your question last night.

Thanks ummmm, you are sweet. But dont you wish you were out, rather than stuck in front of pc?
Hi cupcake

Don't pay any attention to those/that person. I personally think it is just one person who tries to dominate the site - boring.

Its nice to get genuine questions from people like you and no you are not a sad git at all. There are all sorts of people on this site and others sites like this one. They are very informative most of the time and can be a real laugh too. The majority of people are nice on here and the ones that are not so nice usually get their fair share of grief from everyone else.

Keep posting. It's good to have someone to talk to if you are on your own or even if you're in with a mate or a partner.

:o)

ps nothing wrong with a couple of gins either!!! yum
Well not really, but I do get to go out a fair bit.

Have you not got any single friends?
Most of my mates are paired up or skint so I tend to go out with family members. Must admit though, I do have a much better laugh going out with my uncle than I ever do with my mates.

thank you Athley. Maybe I feel a little lost as a new person here. The blonde thing sort of threw me a bit. But thanks for your nice reply. pol xx

ummmm, ALL my friends are either married/partnered up. Also sisters, so leaves me either, decorating, which I am doing tomorrow or on Ab now I have found it. But I have had a good chuckle at some of the things on here..Also informative I hasten to add! :)

ummmm lol, is that blonde person one person? They must sign in and out bloody quick!
I don't think so, but they must talk on msn to know to sign in at the same time. Just seems a little sad though why they can't just keep it there
Question Author
yeah, I thought it was a bit sad too. Think they need to get out more than I do!
What do you call 4 blondes standing in a line?

A wind tunnel ; )

Hang in there! Try looking in your local papers or on Gumtree.com for local stuff you're interested in: book clubs, film clubs etc. Or if you live near NW1, let me know. I'm new in town and could always do with company over a margherita!
Where's NW1? I'm a bit stupid like that!!!!

it means North West 1, which is a london post district, Doh, even i knew that.
