Yes to both and various other symptoms but the best way is to see the doctor and get his advice and go from there.
I was referred to ENT then to a neurologist then onto a specialist neurologist before many tests and years later getting my diagnosis of Menieres disease even though it is what I suggested it was in the first place and my mum has it as well so have first hand experience of it.
I tmay be something quite simple but these kind of symptoms can relate to all kinds of things so hard as it is it often take patience and tests before a cause, if any, can be found.
It may help your doctor to make a list and keep a diary of when the symptoms occur, when, what sevrity and a description and length of the symptoms.
Any other possible factors which could be useful are family illnesses especially if similar and any possible triggers or contributing factors. The latter may also be able to discount some episodes and give a more realistic picture.
