Can I use make-up while using metrogel?

I have mild rosacea and have been prescribed metrogel by my doc. Can anyone tell me if, after applying metrogel, it's ok to put make-up on? I forgot to ask the doctor. Thanks.

Wouldn't it be a wise idea to leave off the make up completely until the rosacea's cleared?

I have just read up on metrogel and i would say it really would be best to leave any make-up off whilst using it. It may just hinder its effectiveness. You dont need your pores clogging up with make up.
