i am incredibly shallow

I am only serious about my family, my job, my car, my 2 dogs and my friends and aquaintences, and there are one or two of those that i have met online, like me mate redbel and young roberto, and the super sloow jo, doctor estie is a genius too,. I am incredibly shallow about most other things, in that my heart is quite hard, a bit like my mum's was i think, she called a spade a spade but me dad would call it a shovel, he was from cheshire Gentleman farming stock.

Who else is concerned that they may appear shallow?

I'm not a lovey dovey sort of girl (I'm not a tom boy either) I've been brought up in a male dominant enviroment and I think I have learnt lot's of traits from them. I'm rude and I swear a lot and I don't care!!

I think you are just straight forward , pragmatic and to the point dotty, that's not shallow, that's actually something to aspire to.You're not an unkind person, just sensible.

I am, cos I tend to think done that, been there, bought the T shirt. I don't like drama, and tend to minimalise things rather than blow them out of proportion, but then that's cos they don't matter in the whole scale of things. But because they matter deeply to some people, I feel shallow when I am being empathetic in my behaviour, when really my heart is saying get on with it.
