Are you trying to say that when you bully people it makes them a stronger person?
I surpose the saying what doesnt kill you makes you stronger.
And its good that you can see the positive in a negative!
But some people arn't as strong as you think so doesnt mean that putting people down is acceptable in anyway.
If people put me down i coundt give a flip anymore its my life not theres, but I think thats just called growning up.
It makes me feel weak, vunerable and hurt. But the only person who really puts me down is my mum. My younger brother often does but then he will have learned that from my mother.
I am 27 now and at 25 my mum had reduced me to almost nothing. I have started to feel a lot stronger now but one derogatory comment from her makes me crumble inside. I'm working on it though!!
Odd as this may sound, when we get on, we get on really well and when we don't, it is awful. She is my mum so I can't walk away and say it is her problem if she wants to put me down. Also, I think a lot of people always believe our parents know best and tend to take everything they say as 'the 'truth'.
someone constantly put me down when i was 17, well was more of a bully, but 9 and a 1/2 years later, i met them again, i was lucky as i was stronger, physically anyway, one broken nose and the biggest smile i ever had
I get what y mean ned, If people have a go at me that i do not really know or when they do not really know me, I have many of the sentiments expressed above, but mainly it makes be fight harder next time.
