Can I just open my arms give you all a big hug and thank you for all the support over the last couple of months following the accident. Your kind words and well wishes you have sent me and my boyfriend have been amazing xxx
Just so you know he had his second and hopefully last amputation Monday and he is recovering well in hospital (now just below the knee) months of Physio to go but they will start measuring him up for a leg in about 2 weeks and thats a big step for us (no punn intended)
If this has taught me anything, it is that no matter what happens, if you stay positive and smile, you can deal with anything life throws at you.
Hello Orangesauce, so good to hear you are both so positive, it won't be easy as you already know, but with the love and outlook you have, things can only go forward, wish you all the best, and let that bloke of yours know how lucky he is to have you, he will know that already, but won't hurt to remind him, take care and let us know how things go, Ray xx
Fantastic to read such a positive message after you have both been through so much. I really want to congratulate the two of you on your strength and the love which has kept you together through what must have been and still are demanding times. You will get through these difficult times and come out so much stronger than you ever were before. A big hug to you both for your courage, determination and resilience and may you continue to have the amazing strength that has guided you so far for the coming months of rehabilitation. Best wishes xxx :o)
I hadn't read about your boyfriend's accident Orangesauce, howvever, I do wish him well & think that he is very lucky to have such a positive, kind, caring person like you beside him.
I'm not sure if you were also involved in the accident, but wish you well too.
