I cut out wheat/dairy/sugar/salt/meat/alcohol/caffeine and it TOTALLYsorts your lust out! After a couple of weeks you simply no LONGER want to eat the stuff that is "bad" for you. You YEARN for fruit and veggies, which is the stuff your body actually needs to rebuild itself. Honestly, you lose the craving for sugar and fat. The first few days are hard but it's like walking up a steep hill. Once you're at the top you can see the amazing view, and it's all downhill from there.

Gotta agree with Scarlett (still greatful for that interesting link you posted in my thread this morning) I started a low GI diet 3 weeks ago and can honestly say I have no cravings for my old diet, which wasn't particulalry bad but there definatly wasn't enough greens etc.. in it. I will never go back to eating white bread again and actually feel the same way about chips!! I've had fun making new meals and have even managed to get the motivation to start exercising and have lost 5lbs so far.
I def feel I have changed the way I eat for good.

There is plenty left to eat!! And all really healthy stuff! I tend to eat rye bread/honey/porridge/fruit for breakfast. I have oatckaes and peanut butter or houmous/fruit/cereal bars/nuts/raw veg/rice cakes/rye Rivita for lunch- lots of little packets in my lunchbox! Takes forever to eat and you never feel hungry or too full or bloated. For dinner I have stir fries, veg bolognese, veg chillies, curries, bean based stews, rice, wheat free pasta, quorn, you can have chips by cutting up potatoes and spraying them with fine olive oil spray, sweet potatoes, all veg, nut roast, quorn or vegetarian sausages (Cauldron foods), Seeds of Change sauces and cereal bars... I also have alpro soya desserts (chocolate/caramel/vanilla) as a treat, and break up a couple of pieces of Green and Black's dark choc into it (no dairy!). I also make hot chocolate using Green and Black's powder and soya milk. Holland and Barrett sell everything you need, but so do most supermarkets. You need never be hungry, and you will feel so much better!
