why is it that the closer you get to the toilet the more you want to go

you mean like when you are in a bar and you decide you need to go but when you get to the ladies there is a queue? they go in 3 and 4 at a time and take ages and all of a sudden.... you feel you are going to burst and the mens seems like a good idea?? ha ha

I know what you mean, its like if I come home the urge to wee gets more as I get near the bathroom. I think it is psychological, your brain associates the loo and pulling your pants down etc wtith weeing so kind of, starts that urge. Good question though!

Happens eg, when you see someone yawn, suddenly you do also.

My elderly relative, poor soul, needs to go 4 times an hour. He was caught out once when in a holdup on the M25. I offered to buy him one of those contraptions like a moon shaped plastic bottle but he prefers to wet his pants.
