What is the 'poshest' thing you have done?

I went to a Charity Ball on Saturday, in Kensington. It was very posh indeed and there were loads of 'Lords' there... I didn't feel out of place or anything but I didn't feel like it was my crowd at all! I ate Caviar too... but I don't know which bit it was... Lmao! It was on my Aubergine thing... and I just ate it! I wore a ball gown too!

Erm... well when i worked for my old company (which built and ran nurseries) i went to the 'Nursery Awards' which were held at The Marriot Hotel.
Very posh indeed and we had Bradley Walsh host the evening. I wore my nice black dress and got pretty pi$$ed. Dont think my company won any awards though (can't rememeber exactly)...although one of my colleagues won the raffle and a nice expensive necklace.
I felt very VIP...lol. x

I've been quite lucky being a lawyer and get some brilliant chances to do stuff via work and with clients.
Having lunch with the British Judge in the European Courts of Justice in Luxembourg was one.
Also took some potential clients to a Theo Fennell promotional launch ladies lunch at Harvey Nics with corrie people and footballers wives and such was great.
Was invited to a VIP champagne dinner at Old Trafford by one potential client who wanted me to do work with him which was cool :) Ooh and met UB40's lovely manager and had a few glasses of champers in his very posh London pad before we went to dinner :)

Well whenever I go to Royal Ascot races I usually end up in the horse owners car park at the end of the day. A friend and I met some racehorse owners years ago and so we always make a point of popping along to say 'hi' if we attend that year.
It's all very surreal. Lots of Range Rovers parked up with the boots open and/or picnics laid out and butlers walking around topping up your Champagne! For a lot of people there it's all very much about status and money but me and my friend don't care about that (seeing as we don't have either!). So it means we can just be ourselves and have a good chat about our days.
It's all very lovely darlink... wot wot!

Being of peasant stock with a mother who has teeth missing and a father who looks like Keith Miller, I have never done nor achieved anything "posh" in my life.
In fact I am off to the Lodge now for a quick tiffin and an early game of canasta.

Awww Nat, it's only really through work though and being a jammy cow lol :) Networking and corporate entertainment is big part of the job these days.
Law is just a good profession to get networking in and esp if you work in the bigger commercial firms and in central London and such it's all about impressing people with corporate entertainment and such and with them having loads of money.
It amazes me sometimes, we had a director of a client company who ran the London Marathon so they paid for a number of us to go on trip London, first class travel, put us up in a posh hotel, took us for dinner in Mayfair and got us on the guest list for Chinawhite, paid for entry into a posh club. We had our own booth and hostess service and drank magnums of Moet all night then went to watch him finish the marathon the next morning. Was a fab weekend!
A lot of it is being jammy though, a lot of famous people speak at awards ceremonies and such, saw Alan Sugar walk right past me while having a crafy fag outside an awards ceremony and clients invited me to a executive breakfast where Nick Leeson (Barings Bank) was a speaker.

Wasn't really posh, but I ended up blagging a trip to Barcelona at the expense of Microsoft for their 'TechEd' show. They wined and dined us and at the end of it hosted a party that could really only be described as staggering. They rented out the olympic arena there, put on a load of beer, cava, food and sideshows. We reckoned they'd spent about �1m on it all. Considering it's over �2k a ticket, I supposed they could afford it.
Well it�s all a matter of perspective really. I have been to enough of those pretentious Lords �n Ladies bashes to pu me off. But my �poshest� moment if we must use the phrase would be a private lunch with one of the Princes of Saudi Arabia (there are very many) at his retreat-palace on the coast of the Red Sea. I had just successfully completed a project which he was funding and he wanted to thank me before I returned home. It was very very posh.
Went to a garden party at Holyrood Palace once, kitted out in full kilt outfit (minus the skee and dhu of course!) got within nearly 200 feet of the Queen which was quite good and the royal bands were quite good too. Got a bit of a red face in one of the tents though when I asked if the jugs of iced tea contained baileys!
