AB gangs

Do you guys hang out on particular boards and wait for friends to post or do you "mingle" and make yourselves useful?

I mingle and flit from one section to another, and try, I did say try, to be helpfull.

Been here a while now (well, 18 months anyway!) so most people I knew then are no longer here :-(

So in answer to your question, no I don't have a gang or the popular word here 'clique'. I just tend to lurk in most topics, apart from motoring (don't drive), business & finance (dull), sport (too energetic), and law (dont understand it)

I think a lot of us, including myself, look for a "feeding frenzy": that is, the number of responses to a question. The we go there and see what's going on. Maybe respond, maybe not.

Hi, BOO. Actually, I had sharks in mind. But friendly ones like nurse sharks or hammerhead sharks: the ones that just swim around and don't really bother people.

I'm not in any "gang" but there are certain abers who i chat to on msn but thats it. I try and help wherever i can or just give my opinion. Mingle is a good word and i would never confine myself to mixing with one group of people!

Same as BOO - don't belong to any gangs or 'cliques' as another AB'er recently put it. Having said that, I have occasionally enjoyed the odd bit of banter with the
Biddies! ;o}

When I do manage to pop into AB, I quickly peruse either: Animals & Nature, Home & Garden, How it works, Motoring, Music, Phrases & Sayings (Jokes too), Society & Culture (Hobbies), Technology, Travel or Suggestions. I used to enjoy Body & Soul, but it's not the same as it used to be, so I rarely bother to venture ino it.

I hang around all over the place really. Try to be helpful when I can and am not too worried about jumping in any thread really. Some areas are frequented more than others though.

been hanging around for over 2 years, popping from topic to topic and sometimes give an opinion here and there, but I do scroll around at least 4 times a week, I just like seeing whats about.

I'm the same as the others. I don't think anyone is really part of a clique as some put it . You just get used to seeing the same names and joining in together if you frequent the place often as I do. Its great because its a chance to interact with people who you never have known in everyday life as we are scattered all across the country.

I try to help if I can, or just join in for a converstion.
