adult acne

Mornin turtle doves- Im 28 but have had really bad acne for a few months now and its really getting me down. Ive never had an issue with spots before, and creams etc arent wrking. Any tips on how to clear my skin up other than drinking heaps of water which I do already. Any advice appreciated. Cheers ! x

hi spk my son is 14 and gets bad spots on his face and back, the doc has put him on pan oxyl aquagel cream, and
oxytetracycleine tablets.
can only suggest u see your doc about it.

I agree with cliffsgirl - a visit to the drs should be your next step. Its probably a hormone imbalance.

If you're on the pill, ask your GP to swap you over to Dianette (Cyprotone Acetate). They also prescribe it just for acne, not just as a contraceptive. It takes around two packets to start making a difference and they keep you on it for three months after the acne has completely cleared up. It's fab!

my other half had this problem and he was in his 30's. He was given a 6 months course of antibiotics (small dose).These did the trick.
